Adam Lee Holloway was blessed with life and entered this world with a smile on his face and a heart full of love for his family and friends. Born on April 22, 1943 in Poquoson, Georgia, the son of John and Mary Hollowy, AdamLee Hollowie was born on the morning of April 23, 1944, at the age of 18, and blessed his life with the love and support of his parents and family. Holloway graduated from Poqonson High School in 1943 and entered Randolph-Macon College as a second-grader in 1944.
He worked for American Airlines for 20 years and eventually worked at Newport News Shipyard as a truck driver, electrician, carpenter and roofer. He was also a bus driver for the town of Newport before setting up his own business and working as a roofer and carpenter for several years. James worked for American airlines for over 20 years and was an avid Harley-Davidson enthusiast. He loved riding motorcycles with friends and working in the business. His love of life and willingness to help others were reflected in his work ethic, his commitment to his job and his love of life.
He left that life as a member of the Oak Ridge Tennessee Roosters, a community of more than 2,000 people, with his family, friends and colleagues.

His parents were born in Lowell, Georgia, he attended Bell City schools, he was the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Holloways and the great-grandfather of Robert and Robin.
